Lee Siat Kiat

Director

A well designed building will withstand the test of time, often to be judged by future generation users.

Desiring to create buildings for people to live, work and play in, Mr Lee Siat Kiat’s designs are guided by functionality and the firm belief that no matter the type of the building, the spaces must fulfil the needs of the end-users and the client’s intended purpose. To do so, Siat Kiat holds that it is therefore imperative that an architect experience and gain knowledge of different environments, people and cultures around the world.

His architectural design skills are complemented by thirty years of experience in the industry, including being a property manager of Westin Hotel and National University Hospital in Singapore. This combination of design and people-skills enabled Siat Kiat to head DP’s Shanghai office, during which he drove large-scale developments projects in China such as Tianjin Eco-city and Shanghai One Prime.

Today, the director is currently overseeing office, retail and residential development projects in Singapore, Malaysia and China. His local projects include OUE Bayfront, Mandarin Gallery and Paterson Suites. Siat Kiat is also mentor to young aspiring architects and is in charge of DP Academy, an initiative to foster continuous learning in DP so as to drive DP to become a world-class architecture firm.
